A quick check before buying electronics

Compare the exact model number and specifications with the version sold at home. Ask the manufacturer about network support, charging requirements and regional features before paying.

Check the written warranty for the specific product and purchase region. For example, Apple’s China hardware warranty says service may be restricted to the country or region where the product was originally sold. Other brands and products have their own terms.

Keep the invoice and ask how returns or service would work after you leave China. A lower sticker price is only one part of the decision.
